The MPX Plus 866 A ProDSP Media Presentation Matrix Switcher is the A/V industry’s
fi rst matrix switcher to incorporate a powerful 32/64-bit fl oating point DSP engine for
complete A/V signal routing and audio control. Extron ProDSP is an audio platform
loaded with powerful tools to control level, dynamics, fi lters, delay, ducking, loudness,
and feedback suppression. ProDSP is managed by the intuitive DSP Confi gurator
Software, which also provides for confi guration of four matrix switchers: an 8x6 VGA
switcher, 6x6 video switcher for composite video and S-video, 14x6 stereo audio
switcher, and a 4x6 mic/line audio matrix mixer. The MPX Plus 866 A is a complete,
one-box solution that eliminates the need for outboard audio DSP equipment when
integrating video and audio in a wide range of common A/V presentation applications.

Microphone bussing allows each of the four mic/line inputs to be mixed
into any or all of the six matrix switcher audio outputs
• Composite video and S-video transcoding
Includes built-in bi-directional video transcoding, which simplifi es
the integration of composite video and S-video sources
• High quality video decoder with time base stabilization
A broadcast-quality video decoder eliminates jitter, dot crawl, and other
decoding artifacts while also stabilizing and improving the video
analog VCRs, worn videotapes or other devices with unstable sync signals
