Activating the USB Port for the First Time

NOTE: When DataViewer is installed on your computer, the Extron USB Driver is

installed at the same time. This driver is required to connect your computer to

any Extron product with a USB port.

When the USB connection is made, the Found New Hardware Wizard opens automatically.

1. Select No, not this time and click Next.

The second Hardware Wizard screen opens:

2. Select Install the software automatically and click Next.

Follow the on-screen instructions. The wizard installs the driver necessary to access the

MLA VC10 Plus USB port (this may take a few minutes).

3. Click Finish to exit the wizard.

Using DataViewer

To use DataViewer, see the help le that comes with the program. The help le can be

accessed by opening the program and either press the <F1> key or clicking on Use help in

the Help menu.
